POLYURETHANE Bed Pads: Washable Reusable



Our POLYURETHANE (PU) bed pads are made of a 100% brushed polyester top layer.  They come in either a white or blue quilted top.  This bed pad can be washed and dried in home or industrial strength machines.  Made in the USA.

Historically bed pads are made with a Vinyl back waterproof barrier that keeps liquids from soaking through the pad.

What is a PU Bed Pad?

1. A PU bed pad has a film lamination process on the bottom of the pad that makes it waterproof.  No Vinyl is used.

2. PU bed pads are lighter in weight then Vinyl.  Therefore they cost less to ship.

3. PU bed pads can be laundered at higher temperatures then Vinyl pads.

4. Since the PU pad is lighter in weight more can be laundered at one time and the drying is also reduced.  These bed pads might be a little more expensive but they will save a facility money on laundering costs.
